About SportCycle

SportCycle Pacific has been operating in Santa Barbara since 1992, and at its present location since 2003. Owner Dave Blunk has been affiliated with Moto Guzzi and other European brands since establishing SportCycle.

Dave has seen a lot of nice bikes over the years and met a lot of owners, many of them becoming great friends! Stop in and say 'hi' the next time you are traveling through the central coast of California, experience our warm and friendly atmosphere, and tell us about your most recent motorcycle experience.

Restoration

SportCycle can handle your European restoration and repair project, from bare frame restoration to performance upgrades, new paint & graphics to hooligan transformation. Contact us to discuss your special needs.

Service

We service all European makes, from regular maintenance to repairs and upgrades. Cylinder head porting, larger pistons, intake and exhaust modifications are just a few of the options. Call us or send email from our Contact page below to make an appointment.

Special projects

The big news is the availability of the RS500GP track and race bike, a 500cc powervalve, 2-stroke twin shoehorned into the RS250 Aprilia chassis. This project, designed in Australia and now being developed in our shops, is the affordable alternative to Superbike racing and an awesome trackday bike. This stroker fulfills the wish of all want-to-be 500GP riders: an affordable, modern design with robust 2-stroke power, superb handling, and low running costs.

We are also introducing a line of custom Cafe Racers to our project list, including the Hyde Harrier Cafe based on modern Triumph Daytona running gear. Other custom and specialty bikes for both street and race use include our SuperSingle cafe and 450Moto racer, both based on Husqvarna Motard models. And, of course, Dave's custom Hooligan and Streetfighter specials.

Our vintage line includes the Harris-framed Ducati TT2 and updated Armstrong 250/350GP bikes, both great trackday or AHRMA race machines. These bikes are available to build on a custom order basis.

Visit our companion site, sportcycleracing.com, for more detailed information on our various race & street projects.
